PMS affects about 75% of women in their reproductive years, a severe form ‘premenstrual dysphoric disorder affects about 8% of women.

To diagnose PMS, the symptoms must be cyclical meaning occurring 5-11 days before your period i.e after ovulation or day 15 ,if they are there throughout the month please get screened to exclude mental health issues.

A combination of emotional & physical symptoms may includes :
- bloating
- depression swelling from fluid retention.
- anxiety
- breast tenderness
- irritability
- weight gain
- weepiness
- food cravings especially carbs.
- hostility or aggression
- loss of libido.
- fatigue
